Stormy Daniels said in a new documentary that she took hush money from Donald Trump during his presidential campaign in order to create a paper trail to prevent him from having her killed.
She described being terrified after the Access Hollywood tape came out revealing Trump’s lewd comments about women, as she felt she had become a political problem for the Republican party.
“My friend was like, you might actually have a problem. I don’t want to scare you, but based on the things you’ve told me. Now. You’re the whole Republican Party’s problem. And they like to make their problems go away,” Daniels said.
“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them, it’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump said previously.
Daniels said people have been suspiciously killed for political reasons, so accepting the payment was about protecting her family and ensuring there was documentation linking her to Trump so he could not have her killed.
“I was very relieved when Gina started reaching out and offering me the chance to keep it quiet. I was [expletive] terrified,” Daniels said.
She stated all she had to do was sign a document and collect $130,000 in hush money.
