Barron Trump recently turned 18 years old.
The youngest son of former President Donald Trump and Melania Trump had a private celebration away from the public eye as he awaits college acceptance decisions.
When Donald Trump first became president, 10-year-old Barron and Melania initially stayed in New York for stability, but they later moved to the White House.
“He has a very good school in New York where he has a lot of friends,” Donald Trump said. “But I tell him if this happens, Daddy will help people, and can help children like him, and that makes him happy. He’s a young boy who is 9 years old and he is strong and smart and he gets it. He sees it.”
In 2021, the family relocated to Florida. Barron maintains a close relationship with his mother Melania, who has ensured family time remains a priority amid Donald Trump’s public life.
Barron is now eager to start college, and Melania will likely be heavily involved in the process as her top priority is caring for Barron.
A source says Melania will follow wherever Barron attends school to stay close to family as they enter this new chapter.
“Melania’s main job is taking care of Barron, and I think it’s possible that she will follow him wherever he goes to school,” the source said. “Barron is shy and reserved, and she has been a good mother to him all of these years.”
The source added, “Melania is all about Barron and her family. She has always been family-oriented, and in addition to some of the charity work she has done, staying ahead of family issues is her priority. She has a good life.”
