The rapper Money Man recently endorsed Donald Trump for president, saying he supports Trump over Democrats who he feels have not helped black communities.

In a podcast interview, Money Man said “I [expletive] with Trump” and does not think Democrats have done anything for black people.

“I [expletive] with Trump,” he said. “I would go Trump…. This my thing — I don’t think the Democrats done did [expletive] for us, man. I don’t see [expletive] getting rich out this [expletive], man.”

“At least the other side, they gon’ tell you how they feel, y’know what I’m saying? Shoutout Trump, man.”

He praised Trump for being upfront about his views.

Money Man’s endorsement adds to other rapper endorsements of Trump, as the Biden administration has faced criticism over policies seen as prioritizing illegal immigrants over disadvantaged citizens.

A poll found the Democratic lead over Republicans among black voters has significantly dropped in recent years, indicating Trump may be making inroads with that group.

Money Man’s remarks reflect this disenchantment some black voters feel toward the current administration.
