Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was called out for distorting and sensationalizing claims made by anti-abortion activists regarding 115 aborted fetuses.

Activists Lauren Handy and Terrisa Bukovinac claimed they received the fetuses from a medical waste truck driver, but police determined the abortions were legal and the company denied their story.

Handy was found with five fetuses in her apartment after being charged for blockading an abortion clinic.

Greene suggested without evidence that Planned Parenthood was involved and that some fetuses “appeared to have been born alive and murdered.”

“In March 2022, pro-life activists tragically discovered the remains of 115 aborted babies being discarded from the Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C.,” Greene wrote.

“Five of these babies were second and third-trimester premature infants who appeared to have been born alive and then murdered. This is an image of some of the 110 first-trimester children killed. This Tuesday, I’m holding a Hearing on Investigating the Black Market of Baby Organ Harvesting,” she wrote.

Critics rebutted Greene’s post point-by-point, noting a lack of evidence and accusations against Planned Parenthood regarding alleged “baby organ harvesting.”

Democrats have pushed back against such unproven claims in videos refuting specific allegations against Planned Parenthood.
