A poll found that a majority of likely 2024 general election voters believe President Biden played a role in the indictments of former President Trump.

58% said Biden played a role, while 33% said he did not.

Of those saying Biden played a role, 40% said it was major, up from 35% in December, and 18% said it was minor. The poll did not provide a margin of error.

This comes after reports that Biden administration officials met with prosecutors in New York, Georgia and Florida before they indicted Trump on various charges.

Trump himself has claimed he is being “prosecuted by Biden, my opponent” through coordination between local prosecutors and the White House. (Trending: Joe Biden Gets Bad News From Texas Judge)

“I’m being prosecuted by Biden, my opponent. … whether it’s Fani Willis or Bragg — these are local and state, but they’re in total coordination with the White House,” Trump said. “You can’t do that. It shouldn’t be done.”

The survey indicates many voters agree with the assessment that Biden has been involved in the legal actions taken against his potential 2024 election rival.
