Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican congresswoman from Colorado, referenced her ejection from a theater for disruptive behavior in a recent interview.

She dismissed potential scandals, stating she is an open book. Boebert plans to run in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District primary after Rep. Ken Buck’s early retirement.

“As far as [opposition] research, I am very clearly an open book,” Boebert said. “And I can’t even go to a theater without that being, you know, broadcast to the world.”

She criticized Buck for allegedly trying to influence the primary and dismissed his remarks as irrelevant.

“I’m not giving anybody an advantage or disadvantage,” Rep. Ken Buck said. “I have done my very best to stay out of this primary election.”

Buck is “so irrelevant and such an embarrassment to Colorado,” Boebert said.

“This isn’t something that’s going to be an October surprise to folks—that I had a rough divorce and there’s issues going on at home,” she said. “But people are seeing that I’m still committed to serving them, and to representing them.” (Trending: New Bombshell FBI Docs Blow Trump Case Wide Open)

Boebert faced criticism for switching districts and is determined to focus on serving her constituents despite challenges.

“I’ve been called much worse than a carpetbagger,” she said, “and my records show that the carpetbaggers actually brought a lot of innovation and prosperity. So we can look at it that way as well.”
