Former President Trump criticized the prosecutor in the Fulton County Trump investigation, Fani Willis, for allegedly coordinating with the Biden administration and hiring partisan operatives aimed at targeting Trump.
In five words, Trump said there was “total coordination with White House.”
Specifically, Trump called out reports that Willis hired Jeff DiSantis, who has ties to Biden’s campaign, inside her office.
Trump said, “I’m being prosecuted by Biden, my opponent. … whether it’s Fani Willis or Bragg — these are local and state, but they’re in total coordination with the White House.”
“You can’t do that. It shouldn’t be done,” said Trump.
Trump also highlighted reports that Willis permitted Nathan Wade, with whom she is accused of having an affair, to make hiring decisions before she hired him at a high salary to prosecute Trump, claiming this shows clear conflicts of interest.
Trump said, “She [Fani Willis] hired somebody; she knew the person long before this horrible prosecution took place.”
He added, “And she went out and she paid them an unbelievable amount of money, more money than he ever had hoped possible — much more money than other people that do that for a living — he never did it at all, had no experience at all.”
Trump said, “They had obviously a conflict.”
