Wendy’s decision to release an orange dreamsicle Frosty flavor internationally but not in the US, has angered many American customers.
It launched the new flavor as a mix of vanilla Frosty and orange cream in other countries.
“The new treat is a mashup of an iconic orange creamsicle pop and the richness of a Frosty,” the release stated.

“It mixes together Wendy’s vanilla Frosty with orange cream. Just like the brand does with all of their seasonal flavors, the orange dreamsicle will replace the vanilla Frosty temporarily and join the chocolate Frosty on the menu.”
Customers took to social media to express their disappointment about missing out on the treat and other international offerings like cold coffees in the Philippines.
“Why does American Wendy’s hate us,” one X user wrote.
“We need this ASAP in the US,” another said.
Critics noted that the frustration comes after Wendy’s announced plans to experiment with dynamic pricing similar to Uber, raising prices during busy times, though the company later clarified it intended to lower prices when slow to encourage orders.
