Hunter Biden is scheduled to go on trial June 3rd for federal gun charges. He is accused of making false statements on a form when purchasing a handgun in 2018, by denying he was an unlawful user or addicted to controlled substances.

The maximum 9-day trial would include jury selection and time for the prosecution and defense to present their cases.

Hunter also faces separate tax charges in California scheduled for June 20th, though the gun trial date could be pushed back as the special counsel said that trial may take several weeks.

Hunter has pleaded not guilty to both cases while his lawyers have sought to get all charges dismissed.

He had initially agreed to a plea deal last year that was rejected by the judge over alleged lies by Hunter’s attorneys and its protection from other tax violations.
