According to a transcript obtained by Breitbart News, President Joe Biden experienced multiple instances of apparent mental lapses and memory issues during his interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.

When questioned about leaving the vice presidency, announcing for president, living in Virginia, and transporting documents, Biden asked when certain events occurred, unable to recall on his own.

“When did I announce for president?” Biden asked at one point.

He also asked when he stopped being vice president and when Trump was elected in relation to his son’s death.

“And so this is — I’m, at this stage, in 2009. In 2009, am I still vice president?” Biden asked.

“Trump gets elected in November of 2017?” Biden later asked.

Twice Biden could not remember the term “fax machine” and had to be reminded by White House Counsel Ed Siskel.

“You see where there’s a printer and there’s a — what do they call it, the machine that —” Biden asked, referring to a fax machine.

“When I built that home, built into the walls, a space for a copy machine, for a — what do you call it, when they send these —” Biden later said.

“Fax machine,” someone said for the second time.

“Fax machine,” Biden said.

Hur characterized Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” in declining to prosecute him for retaining classified documents, citing insufficient evidence Biden acted willfully.
