Erik James Brown, known for his appearances on the Discovery Channel show “Deadliest Catch,” was arrested in Florida for alleged probation violations.
Brown has a history of legal issues, including charges in 2018 for running an illegal marijuana growing operation valued at nearly $2 million, and arrests in 2020 related to domestic assault, battery, evidence tampering, and marijuana offenses.
According to reports, Brown was taken into custody in the Florida Keys and faces two counts of probation violation, with his arraignment scheduled for April 1st.
Despite these setbacks, Brown has been featured on “Deadliest Catch,” which documents the dangerous work and high-risk conditions faced by Alaskan crab fishermen in the Bering Sea.
The show highlights the perilous nature of the profession.
