Key revelations from Hunter Biden’s 229-page deposition transcript include his claims that his uncle James was merely an “advisor” he paid rather than a business partner, and that his father Joe Biden only attended business meetings to celebrate Hunter’s birthday rather than influence deals.

Hunter acknowledged references to the “big guy” in communications with associates tied to a Chinese firm were about his father Joe.

Hunter Biden said, “I wanted my uncle to be an advisor to me, so I sent money to him.”

“I wasn’t conducting business when I had those meetings,” said Hunter.

Hunter said, “My dad stopped by because it was my actual birthday.”

“I was in New York City and I was having lunch with some of my business associates and I said ‘Hey dad, come by for lunch?’ Who wouldn’t do that?” said Hunter.

Texts from Hunter showed him threatening consequences if a Chinese businessman did not follow his direction while he sat with Joe.

Hunter reportedly texted a Chinese businessman connected to CEFC, “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

Days later, Hunter’s firm received a $5 million wire payment.

Hunter also claimed he “lost” diamonds given to him by the Chinese as business gifts, which he said were common in China despite calling them probably just “stones.”

Fox News’ Jesse Watters said, “What about the diamonds the Chinese kept giving you and you kept ‘losing.’”

“It’s business culture in China,” said Hunter.

Hunter said, “When I first received the diamond, I thought it was an extravagant gift… We gave Mr. Ye a magnum bottle, of I think scotch – 1967 Macallan – that ultimately was worth far more than the diamond he gave us.”
