Several Hollywood celebrities harshly criticized the Supreme Court’s decision to take up former President Trump’s immunity case, with some calling for expanding the Court or targeting specific justices.
After the ruling represented a potential blow to prosecuting Trump before the 2024 election, Ellen Barkin tweeted “[Expletive] the Supreme Court.”
“[Expletive] the Supreme Court,” wrote Barkin.
The country needs to know what this Supreme Court decision means. It ends any possibility of justice for Trump. It ends the concept of “no man is above the law.” Adding to its vile blatant violation of separation of Church and State, it becomes the most corrupt Court in history.

Steven van Zandt called the Court the “most corrupt” in history and said Justice Clarence Thomas belongs in jail, without explanation.
“Thomas needs to be in jail,” rocker Steven van Zandt wrote.
Jon Cryer claimed the Court has lost legitimacy and pushed an ethics probe of Thomas.
“Dems must push to expand the court,” Jon Cryer wrote.
Rob Reiner seemed to call the Court a “cancerous threat to democracy” while Barbra Streisand warned Trump may avoid trial until after the election.
The celebrities appeared aimed at ginning public outrage and furthering the Democratic agenda of court-packing in response to the ruling.
