According to FEC records and sources, Jeff DiSantis – a deputy district attorney in Fulton County, GA who raised millions for DA Fani Willis’ 2020 campaign – received over $131,000 in consulting payments from Rep. Gabe Amo, a former Biden White House aide.
DiSantis is a wealthy Democrat operative who founded a consulting firm, 20/20 Insights, while working for the DA’s office.
“That is the connection to the White House,” an inside source stated. “DiSantis did this. He’s the one. He is the one pulling all the strings. He was the one that walled her [Willis] off. He was in every important meeting. He is the brainchild behind this.”
Sources allege DiSantis has inappropriately wielded influence over Willis and the Trump investigation in her office.
The timing of DiSantis stepping down as the registered agent of his firm shortly before revelations of Willis’ affair with a prosecutor on the Trump team has raised further questions about political influence in the case.
“He had over $4 million in donations for running the district attorney’s race,” one source said. “Why would you want to take a major pay cut to get a $70,000 or $80,000 prosecutorial job?” the source questioned. “I have no idea why.”
