Four former Twitter executives have sued Elon Musk for wrongfully denying them over $128 million in severance pay after firing them.

The lawsuit was filed by the former CEO, CFO, General Counsel and head of policy Vijaya Gadde.

They argue their contracts entitled them to payouts since Twitter went private, but Musk deliberately manufactured cause to terminate them without paying.

Citing a biography where Musk said he would avoid severance by fabricating reasons, the executives claim Musk falsely accused them of misconduct solely to deny severance in a pretext of vengeance and saving money.

They are seeking unpaid benefits and damages, arguing Musk interfered with their contractual rights.
