Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) won a contentious Alabama Republican primary against Rep. Jerry Carl (R-AL) after redistricting placed them in the same district.
The redrawn district favored Moore, making him the more conservative candidate.
The race involved mudslinging and endorsements from prominent figures.

Moore received support from conservatives like Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene, while Carl had backing from establishment figures like Steve Scalise and Mike Rogers.
Outside spending, particularly from the Club For Growth, played a significant role in the race.
Despite this, Moore is expected to win easily in the heavily Republican district in November.
