The Late Show host Stephen Colbert poked fun at an odd moment from Donald Trump’s recent campaign rally where Trump trailed off mid-sentence while mentioning Russia.
Colbert played the footage where Trump said “We’re a nation that just recently heard that Saudi Arabia and Russia will…” before making an unusual drawn out “aaah” sound.
Colbert joked about Trump’s questionable allegiance to Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin, which has concerned some.
“Not entirely sure what’s going on there,” Colbert said.
“But apparently, he can’t even say the word ‘Russia’ without climaxing,” he quipped.
