A former law partner of special prosecutor Nathan Wade in the Trump election case testified about what he knew of Wade’s relationship with District Attorney Fani Willis.

The partner, Terrance Bradley, had to testify without claiming attorney-client privilege.

He struggled to recall key details from his conversations with Wade over two years ago about the timeline of Wade and Willis’ romantic relationship.

Bradley appeared to contradict previous text messages where he stated he thought the relationship began before Willis hired Wade in 2021.

Attorney Richard Rice asked, “Do you tell lies about your friends? About a case of national importance?”

“I could have had, I don’t know,” replied Bradley.

Much of Bradley’s two-hour testimony involved saying he couldn’t remember details over two dozen times.

The defense is trying to prove Willis and Wade lied about when their relationship began to establish a conflict of interest that should lead to Willis’ disqualification.

A former friend and employee of Willis contradicted the official timeline of events, saying she observed Wade and Willis together romantically as early as 2019.

The judge will hear final arguments before deciding whether enough evidence exists to disqualify Willis.
