Federal pressure has mounted on locales to enact stricter gun laws following mass shootings, with Missouri resisting such pressure and defending the Second Amendment Preservation Act in court.
Despite calls for stricter laws post-shooting, Missouri has remained steadfast in upholding Second Amendment rights and resisting federal interference.
“We will continue to lead the way in defense of the 2A,” Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said.

“Joe Biden doesn’t get to pick and choose which parts of the Constitution are legitimate,” Bailey said.
Numerous challenges have been faced by states defending gun rights against federal and state-level efforts to restrict them in recent years.
