Hunter Biden could not recall key details during his deposition with the House Impeachment Inquiry, including texting a Chinese business partner and messages regarding board structure and equity in a joint venture.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Hunter wrote in 2017.
He denied Joe Biden’s involvement in these dealings despite references to “the big guy.”
“The agreement, the executed agreement, the executed agreement to create a company that was never operated, that’s what happened. That’s the evidence you have. You have the evidence of the executed agreement between Hudson West Three, me, and Mr. Ye. You have that. Nothing to do with my dad, zero,” Hunter said.
Multiple sources used “the big guy” to reference Joe Biden, and there are allegations of politically influenced investigations to protect the Bidens.
A majority of voters believe Joe Biden profited from his son’s business, with Hunter being a material witness in the impeachment inquiry.
The investigation uncovered wire transfers and shell companies that helped the Biden business earn $24 million from foreign nationals over five years.
