Prosecutors in the Georgia election interference case have offered to have the Napa Valley winery worker who originally told CNN that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis paid cash during a visit with special prosecutor Nathan Wade testify in court.

In a late court filing, prosecutors submitted the worker’s affidavit stating Willis paid the nearly $400 bill in cash, supporting her previous testimony that she often uses cash for travel expenses.

Defense attorneys for Donald Trump have argued Willis should be disqualified due to her romantic relationship with Wade, whom she hired, pointing to records of Wade paying some shared vacation costs.

Willis testified they split costs but records were limited as she frequently used cash.

Both sides will make final arguments Friday on whether Willis should be removed, with the judge allowing new evidence to be presented.
