A video released by former President Donald Trump’s campaign highlighted crimes, specifically murders, committed by illegal aliens ahead of Trump’s visit to the U.S. border with Mexico.
It includes clips of Trump discussing illegal immigration and news coverage of crimes committed by illegal aliens.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said. “It’s coming from more than Mexico… they’re bringing drugs.”
The video emphasized the impact of illegal immigration on crime rates in the United States.
Trump criticized Biden’s border policies, stating that the border is now the worst it has ever been.
“We had the safest border ever and now we have the worst border ever,” Trump said. “And I mean anywhere—there’s never been a border like this ever in the world.”
Both Trump and Biden are scheduled to visit the border on the same day, setting the stage for immigration and national security to be key issues in the 2024 election.
