A billboard in Times Square criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her support of the Chinese-owned app TikTok, referring to her as “AO-CCP.”

The billboard advertised Peter Schweizer’s new book “Blood Money” which details how China uses TikTok as part of its “disintegration warfare” strategy against the U.S.

“The Chinese military is weaponizing TikTok to target American children. AOC argued against a TikTok ban… on TikTok!” the billboard read.

The book cites restricted Chinese military documents that show TikTok is used to inject propaganda into American youth.

While the U.S. government bans TikTok on devices over security concerns, Ocasio-Cortez opposes a total ban.

TikTok has been accused of being a Chinese surveillance weapon and meddling in U.S. elections.

The app is owned by ByteDance which is beholden to China and has access to user data through servers in the U.S.

The billboard criticized Ocasio-Cortez’s defense of the app given these national security issues.
