A new website is tracking the increasing amount of fines owed by Donald Trump in real time from a large civil fraud verdict against him.

The initial ruling in 2022 ordered Trump to pay $355 million in penalties for inflating his wealth, but with 9% daily interest the amount has grown substantially, averaging an increase of $112,000 per day.

As of late 2022 the live counter on the site showed Trump owing nearly $465 million.

The website, created by a Democratic strategist Johnny Palmadessa, includes features like a Trump quiz and chatbot, and its operator says it is the only site carefully monitoring the daily debt accumulation to ensure accuracy as Trump appeals the ruling.

According to the website, “Donald Trump’s Debt: Live Counter” is “the only website actively being monitored by an accountant to ensure accuracy.”
