Donald Trump won Michigan’s Republican primary, further cementing his frontrunner status for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
Early results showed Trump receiving around 65% of the vote compared to 30% for his sole remaining challenger Nikki Haley.
This followed other primary victories for Trump in states like South Carolina, where Haley lost her home state by 20 points.

On Tuesday, pastor Ryan Binkley dropped out of the race to endorse Trump, leaving Haley as the last candidate opposing Trump.
Binkley posted, “Today, I am suspending my campaign for the Presidency of the United States of America and offering my endorsement and unwavering support for President Trump.”
Trump now holds a substantial delegate lead over Haley, whose campaign was further hindered by Americans for Prosperity halting funding for her bid.
With Trump gaining momentum, attention is turning to the general election, including upcoming visits by Trump and Biden to the southern border.
