The survey showed Trump trouncing potential Republican primary challenger Nikki Haley by 42 points.
The results coincide with other recent polls displaying Trump ahead of Biden in several key swing states.
Maine is unique in that it can potentially split its electoral votes between candidates by congressional district, so the survey signals Trump is well positioned to win some or all of Maine’s electoral votes if he runs in 2024.
