Prince Harry lost his security court battle as the London High Court ruled in favor of the government, finding no procedural unfairness in his treatment and supporting the decision to treat his security like any other high-profile visitor to the UK.
Despite plans to appeal, the court upheld the government’s stance that their protective security system is rigorous and proportionate.
“The Duke is not asking for preferential treatment, but for a fair and lawful application of RAVEC’s own rules, ensuring that he receives the same consideration as others in accordance with RAVEC’s own written policy,” the duke’s spokesperson stated.

Harry’s initial case stemmed from security concerns during a UK visit in 2021, with the aim of ensuring safety for himself and his family in the country.
“The goal for Prince Harry has been simple — to ensure the safety of himself and his family while in the U.K. so his children can know his home country,” a spokesperson for Harry said.
