Jimmy Fallon discovered the Republican Party’s new official handshake when he observed an awkward moment between Donald Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham after Trump won South Carolina’s Republican presidential primary.
“Unfortunately, things got even more awkward from there,” Fallon said.
The interaction involved Trump high-fiving Graham’s fist, leading Fallon to humorously comment on their age and race.
“Those two couldn’t be any older or whiter,” Fallon said.
“Course they had to pretend Trump did that on purpose, so now it’s the official Republican greeting,” he added.
The incident was jokingly dubbed the official Republican greeting.
