Nikki Haley vows to continue her GOP presidential campaign despite a poor primary showing in South Carolina, focusing on Super Tuesday.
Senate Minority Whip John Thune endorses Donald Trump for re-election after South Carolina results.
“America will come apart if we make the wrong choices. This has never been about me or my political future. We need to beat Joe Biden in November. I don’t believe Donald Trump can beat Joe Biden,” Haley said.
“I said earlier this week that no matter what happens in South Carolina, I would continue to run for President. I’m a woman of my word. I’m not giving up this fight when a majority of Americans disapprove of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden,” she said.
“The primary results in South Carolina make clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for president in this year’s pivotal presidential election. The choice before the American people is crystal clear: It’s Donald Trump or Joe Biden,” Thune said.
A new Siena College poll indicates a significant increase in Jewish support for Trump in NY, possibly due to recent events in Israel, with Biden still leading in the state.
