The two individuals charged in a deadly shooting during Kansas City’s Chiefs Super Bowl parade celebration have been identified as adults aged 18 and 22, contrary to initial media reports labeling them as minors.
Dominic M. Miller and Lyndell Mays have been charged with second-degree murder and other felonies for their alleged roles in an incident that killed radio DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 22 others.
According to prosecutors, Mays instigated the gunfire during a verbal argument with an unacquainted individual, first brandishing and then firing his handgun when the confrontation escalated quickly.
