In Michigan, a key battleground state, former President Trump leads President Biden by 4 points in the EPIC-MRA poll.
This state, part of the “blue wall,” switched from Trump in 2016 to Biden in 2020.
The poll suggests a potential Trump victory unless there are significant changes.
Biden has been urged to improve his numbers by Democrats.
“It points to a potential Trump win unless things dramatically change,” EPIC-MRA pollster Bernie Porn said.
“[Biden is] at a point where, before long, he’s got to start moving numbers in his direction,” he said.
The poll shows Trump at 45% and Biden at 41%. Concerns about Biden’s performance in Michigan are raised by Democrat donor Bill Ackman.
“His polls are terrible,” Ackman said. “The Muslim community is not happy with him, and he really has spent no time there. If he’s embarrassed in Michigan, it could be a catalyst for him withdrawing.”
EPIC-MRA surveyed 600 likely voters with a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
