A poll from Emerson College and The Hill found former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden in the key swing state of Pennsylvania in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.
Trump led Biden 45% to 43%, with a larger 49% to 40% lead over Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump’s lead grew to 42% when independent candidates were included, while Biden fell to 37%.

Independent voters favored Biden by 6 points but men supported Trump 50-41% and women Biden 44-42%.
Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling wrote, “men break for Trump over Biden 50% to 41% while women break slightly for Biden over Trump, 44% to 42%.”
The top issue for Pennsylvanians was the economy at 40%, followed by healthcare at 11% and immigration at 11%.
Other recent state polls have shown Trump leading Biden in key swing states like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
