Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked New York Judge Arthur Engoron for his $355 million business fraud verdict against former President Trump last week.
Engoron ruled that Trump inflated the value of his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.
Trump claimed it was worth over $1 billion but Engoron agreed with an appraiser’s valuation of $18-27 million.
Greene said Engoron “should be disrobed and thrown out, he’s a disgrace” for the ruling.
She argued Mar-a-Lago was worth more now as an exclusive club.
“Judge Engoron should be disrobed and thrown out, he’s a disgrace!!” Greene wrote on X.
“Mar-a-lago in 1981 was only a home, today it is one of the most exclusive social clubs in the world,” she said. “Mar-a-lago is worth more now than the ridiculous judgement he ruled against Pres Trump!”
Engoron has pushed back on claims he personally valued the property, saying he relied on an appraiser.
“Please, press, stop saying that I valued it at $18 million,” Engoron said in October of 2023.
Trump denies wrongdoing and plans to appeal.
The ruling also bars Trump from operating New York businesses for three years.
