Brexit leader Nigel Farage argued that former President Donald Trump brought peace during his term and is needed back in power to end current global conflicts.

Farage praised Trump’s foreign policy accomplishments like the Abraham Accords between Israel and Arab states.

Farage said, “I think the world needs Trump more now than it ever did before, and I think even his fiercest critic would admit that in terms of foreign policy, he was a peacemaker.”

“His administration put in place the Abraham Accords, the beginnings of Israel forming bilateral relations with a number of Arab states. Saudi Arabia was on the verge of joining that club and that is why Hamas attacked on October 7th,” he continued.

“He proved to be a great peacemaking president and we need him back on the world stage very badly and very quickly,” explained Farage.

He and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban asserted Trump is the only one strong enough to resolve the Ukraine war.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktór Orban said, “Peace has a name, that of Donald Trump.”

Trump himself said there was peace four years ago under his leadership.

Trump responded, “Thank you Viktor, we will not let the World down – THERE WILL BE PEACE ON EARTH, JUST LIKE THERE WAS FOUR YEARS AGO!”

While some criticized Trump’s anecdote about pressuring NATO allies on defense spending, Farage defended Trump’s aim to make allies pay their fair share, and said Putin likely wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if Trump was still president.

Farage previously said, “There is this sort of argument in Europe that he will blow up NATO… I don’t believe any of that for a moment,” he said.

He added, “What he wanted was for NATO members to pay their fair share. I don’t believe that Putin would have invaded Ukraine had Trump been in the White House.”

Farage believes Trump’s tough rhetoric succeeded in getting European countries to increase defense spending, and that concerns over Trump weakening NATO are overblown.
