Former Attorney General Bill Barr, who has been critical of Trump since he left office, indicated he would support Trump over Biden in 2024.

Barr said, “Voting for Trump is playing Russian roulette with the country.”

“Voting for Biden is outright national suicide,” he added.

“I don’t like the idea of us putting former presidents in prison,” Barr explained.

“I hope this doesn’t end up with him in prison even if he is convicted,” added the former attorney general.

While acknowledging legal challenges facing Trump, Barr defended him in some past criminal cases.

Barr does not want to see Trump imprisoned even if convicted, hoping it does not come to that.

Despite his criticisms of Trump, Barr believes he presents less risk than Biden.

The remarks show Barr’s continued willingness to back Trump politically, believing the risks of another Trump term are preferable to Biden remaining in the White House.
