Beyoncé made history by securing the top spot on the Hot Country Songs chart with her new song “Texas Hold ‘Em,” becoming the first Black female artist to achieve such a feat.
Her upcoming album “Renaissance: Act II” showcases a country-rock sound, a departure from her usual pop and hip-hop style.
“You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right?” actor John Schneider said.

The move has sparked controversy among conservatives and country radio, with some criticizing her shift in musical genre.
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, defended her daughter, highlighting their connection to black cowboy culture and the influence of country music in their lives.
“In Texas there is a huge black cowboy culture,” Knowles wrote on Instagram.
“Why do you think that my kids have integrated it into their fashion and art since the beginning. When people ask why is Beyonce wearing cowboy hats? It’s really funny, I actually laugh because it’s been there since she was a kid, we went to rodeos every year and my whole family dressed in western fashion.”
