Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly working to fix the Biden campaign’s strategy ahead of the 2024 election.

With Biden’s approval ratings low and most voters saying they don’t want him to run again, Harris appears to be positioning herself as an alternative candidate at the Democratic convention if Biden steps aside.

Politico outlined a process for Harris to replace Biden as the nominee.

Harris has been critical of the Biden campaign’s “bubble” thinking and is aiming to push changes to strategy and tactics based on intelligence she’s gathering.

Multiple Democrats say conversations with Harris have been a welcome change after feeling ignored by the White House.

“The ‘bedwetting’ complaints are running thin with people,” an anonymous meeting attendee said. “The West Wing and the campaign need to be better.”

They say the campaign needs to improve.

Harris announced a nationwide abortion rights tour starting on the Roe v. Wade anniversary, seeming to view it as an issue that could help Biden defeat Trump, as the campaign works to address growing concerns about its prospects.
