Alex is a 30-pound rabbit who was rescued from a slaughterhouse in 2020. He now works as a therapy animal, attending over 200 events in San Francisco to calm nerves.
His owners take him around in a light-up stroller and even got him an electric mini car.
“When we got Alex, we thought, Why not bring him along, as we knew people would love him as much as we do,” Kei Kato said.

Alex has gained popularity on social media, with over 26,000 Instagram followers and nearly 34,000 TikTok followers.
Some of his videos receive over 1 million views. His owners say showing off Alex puts smiles on people’s faces, and he seems to enjoy the attention.
