Elon Musk expressed his belief that the US should cease funding Ukraine’s fight against Russia, stating that prolonging the war and sending aid does not help Ukraine.

During a Twitter Spaces event with Republican senators, he emphasized that there was no chance Vladimir Putin would lose the conflict and encouraged citizens to contact their representatives about the Ukraine funding bill.

“This spending does not help Ukraine; prolonging the war does not help Ukraine,” Musk said. “Having these boys die for nothing is wrong and needs to stop.”

Musk also voiced concern about his involvement in Ukraine after supplying Starlink satellite receivers and proposed ideas for restoring peace, which drew criticism from some, including accusations of aligning with Putin’s views.
