Former president Donald Trump launched his own line of signature shoes called “Never Surrender High-Tops” that are being sold for $399 on a new website.
The gold sneakers feature an American flag detail and are part of Trump’s latest merchandising venture along with “Victory47” cologne and perfume.
CIC Ventures LLC described the shoes as, “Bold, gold, and tough, just like President Trump” on the website.
While the website says it has no connection to Trump’s campaign, campaign officials did promote the sneaker launch.
The shoes are described as a limited-edition collector’s item to capitalize on Trump’s brand.
The Biden-Harris communications director criticized the move as Trump attempting to sell “bootleg” shoes, suggesting the former president will never gain access to the White House again.
Biden-Harris 2024 Communications Director Michael Tyler wrote, “Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg Off-Whites is the closest he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life.”
