“Dear Melania, I LOVE YOU. Even after every single INDICTMENT, ARREST, and WITCH HUNT, you never left my side. You’ve always supported me through everything. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without your guidance, kindness, and warmth. You will always mean the world to me, Melania! From your husband with love, Donald J. Trump,” Trump wrote.
“On behalf of my family, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the love and support that you have showered upon us throughout this journey of loss and grief,” Melania wrote of her mother on X. “We will cherish the beautiful memories of my beloved mother and forever keep her light in our hearts.”
“Her nurturing spirit had no limits, creating a legacy that will last for generations,’ the former First Lady said of her mother, who passed away on January 9, aged 78. ‘With her beauty and impeccable sense of style, she turned heads. But it was her unwavering dedication and hard work that made her exceptional,” Melania said.
“She worked tirelessly, pushing herself beyond her limits, fueled by the fire within. She is a true inspiration, a role model to me, and so many,” she said.
She recounted fond memories of her mother’s introduction to fashion and passion for cooking.
Melania’s remarks reflected on her mother’s strength and the enduring nature of a mother’s love.
“She effortlessly introduced me to the charming world of fashion with tales of her glamorous travels to Paris and neighboring European capitals,” she said.
“Hopefully, she will be recovering because she was very ill,” Trump said. “I just want to say hello to the first lady; we just spoke down in Miami at a great hospital. And hopefully, it will be OK. But it’s a tough one. She sends her love to everyone. She knows about 95% of the people in the room, and we want to wish Amalija gets better as quickly as possible.”
