Haley only comes close to Trump among independent voters, tying him at 42%.
However, Haley’s unfavorable rating has risen.
The poll is just the latest to predict a significant loss for Haley in the South Carolina primary, with other recent surveys showing Trump leading by 35 or even 45 points.
It suggests Haley may need to rely on crossover votes from non-conservatives in open primary states.
