Speculation grew about Taylor Swift possibly attending the White House ceremony for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs after her relationship with Chiefs star Travis Kelce was noted.
When asked if Swift would be invited, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said invitations were up to the team but the White House looks forward to the traditional visit.
Former NFL player Brandon Marshall also claimed without evidence that Swift got Kanye West ejected from the Super Bowl for trying to overshadow her, continuing their long-standing public feud, but West was seen at the game, casting doubt on the story.
Swift’s presence with her boyfriend Kelce at the White House ceremony would draw significant attention given her celebrity status.
