Rep. Cori Bush is behind her Democratic primary challenger by 22 points, according to a recent poll conducted by Remington Research Group.
The survey, which included 401 likely 2024 Democratic primary voters, revealed that half of the respondents would vote for Wesley Bell, 28% for Bush, and 4% for state Sen. Maria Chapelle-Nadal.
Bell leads in most demographic breakdowns and has significant support among African American and white respondents.
The poll also highlighted the challenges faced by Democratic critics of Israel, with Bush being vocal in support of Palestinians.
The survey showed that a plurality of respondents were undecided on their sympathies regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Bush’s campaign team did not provide a comment.
