CBS, the broadcasting network, reported that a total of 202.4 million viewers watched at least part of the game, breaking previous records.
The game’s overtime, along with compelling storylines such as the Chiefs’ win and performances by notable figures like Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swift, contributed to its immense popularity.
The event marked the first Super Bowl hosted in Las Vegas and set the stage for Super Bowl LIX, scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025, at the Superdome in New Orleans, to be broadcasted by Fox.
