President Biden has announced the start of a TikTok account, despite the app being banned from federal devices.
Questions have been raised about the discrepancy, but the White House has not provided a substantial answer.
Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the ban on government phones and property is due to an act of Congress.
“The reason why it is banned on government phones and government property is because it is an act of Congress,” Jean-Pierre said.
“I do not communicate with the campaign on any strategy of anything like that.”
