The social media company X is introducing a new ad targeting feature allowing brands to promote their ads alongside specific creators’ content, aiming to regain advertisers after recent controversies.

This feature enables brands to curate ads to specific users, ensuring their ads do not appear alongside content from certain creators, such as conservatives like Catturd or Libs of TikTok.

The tech giant annouced, “Starting this month, advertisers on Twitter can run ads against a curated list of premium content creators via Creator Targeting.”

The move follows a significant drop in advertising revenue for Twitter, with the company aiming to attract advertisers back to the platform by offering more control over ad placement.

This feature could also help Twitter compete with YouTube for talent and potentially court influencers, but its impact on mending relationships with brands remains uncertain.
