A federal appeals court ruled that former President Trump does not have immunity from potential charges from the Biden Department of Justice over the 2020 election, prompting the Trump campaign to express concerns about future presidents being immediately indicted by the opposing party.
Democrats, along with efforts in Colorado and Maine to keep Trump off the ballot, are seen as using the legal system as a weapon against their opponent, a strategy known as “lawfare.”
Investigative journalist Matt Taibbi reports that the 2024 presidential race may be increasingly decided by lawyers, not voters.
