Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate, expressed enthusiasm over a recent NBC poll indicating that 34% of people would consider voting for him.

He highlighted the significance of this percentage, suggesting that it could be enough for him to win the election in a three-way race.

He mentioned receiving what he considered a fair interview and positive coverage from NBC Nightly News, emphasizing the shift from a two-man to a three-man race.

“If you do the math, all I really need, theoretically, is 34 points to win the election. Because if it is a three-way tie, and I get 34, it is winner-take-all,” Kennedy said.

“I want to take note of a poll that came out, reported by NBC News today, that shows that 34% of the country would vote for me.”

“What is more interesting, I got a really fair interview and a really good story on NBC Nightly News, which is another first. And NBC Nightly News declared that it is no longer a two-man race, it is a three-man race,” he said.

“And if you do the math, all I really need, theoretically, is 34 points to win the election. Because if it is a three-way tie, and I get 34, it is winner-take-all.”
