A 22-year-old man from Berkeley, California, named Tyler Mims was arrested for allegedly stealing 50 iPhones worth $49,230 from an Apple Store in Berkeley.
The theft was captured on video and went viral on social media.
The police collaborated with other agencies to address organized retail crime, leading to Mims’ arrest along with two others.
The video received over 10 million views on social media platforms.
